IHES - Innovative Home Energy Solutions
Whole House Fans Innovative Home Energy Solutions is one of the Largest Authorized Distributors of Quiet Cool Fans in Southern California. The Quiet Cool fan is a whole house fan that moves large volumes of air quietly. Traditional whole house fans move large amounts of air boisterously, causing homeowners to be reluctant to run the fans during the coolest parts of the evening. Quiet Cool Fans are without a doubt the best method of providing ventilation and cooling for the entire home quietly (keep them on while your sleeping).
Energy Audits Innovative Home Energy Solutions provides Energy Audits (for Homes, Buildings, etc.). An energy audit is where the energy efficiency is evaluated using professional equipment (blower doors, infra-red cameras, etc.), with the aim being to provide the best ways to improve energy efficiency in heating and cooling within the area, home or building. (The audit may also assess the efficiency, physical condition, and programming of mechanical systems such as the heating, ventilation, air conditioning equipment, and thermostat.)
Solar Energy A partial list of solar applications includes space heating and cooling through solar architecture, potable water via distillation and disinfection, daylighting, solar hot water, solar cooking, and high temperature process heat for industrial purposes. To harvest the solar energy, the most common way is to use solar panels. (Solar technologies are broadly characterized as either passive solar or active solar depending on the way they capture, convert and distribute solar energy.)
Water Circulation Systems There’s no longer a reason to waste water or money; the days of waiting for water to reach a comfortable temperature before taking a shower or washing your hands is over. Installing hot water circulating pumps (circulation systems) is a simple and inexpensive way to eliminate the wait for hot water. Instant hot water at the faucet not only conserves water and stops waste; it also saves homeowners, utility companies and taxpayers money.
Insulation Properly insulating your home will not only help reduce your heating and cooling costs but it also makes your home more comfortable. Insulation provides resistance to heat flow. The more heat flow resistance your insulation provides, the lower your heating and cooling costs. To maintain comfort, the heat lost in the winter must be replaced by your heating system and the heat gained in the summer must be removed by your cooling system. Properly insulating your home will decrease this heat flow by providing an effective resistance to the flow of heat.

--- A Letter of Appreciation from a Very Satisfied Customer (received March, 2010) ---
I wish to thank Innovative Home Energy Solutions for the outstanding installation of solar electronic panels to my home in October of 2010. The system works as advertised, and I am exceptionally pleased with the system. I also wish to thank Scott Weber for his outstanding method of doing business, attention to detail, and keeping me informed at each and every step of the process. Scott went above and beyond expectation in that regard, and instilled a level of trust that is extremely rare in today’s businesses. I have a very high level of confidence with Scott and his expertise. Thank you for a JOB WELL DONE! —Stephen Yurkovic
Energy efficiency and environmentally friendly materials rank highest on the list (above renewable energy source, natural resource, efficiency, healthy materials & location) in a study performed by Synovate that was commissioned by FreeGreen. American Homeowners were asked: What do you consider to be the single most important factor in determining if a home is ‘green?’
